What THCA flower is

Cannabis plants do not make THC directly. They make THCA, tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, which is not intoxicating in its raw form. Heat removes a carboxyl group and turns THCA into Delta 9 THC, the compound that gets you high. THCA flower is cannabis flower that tests high in THCA and low in Delta 9 THC, which is what lets it be sold as hemp. Once it is lit, it is the same experience as flower of the same potency from a dispensary.

We carry three strains. Sour Diesel is a sativa at 25.41% THCA with a diesel and citrus nose. Emerald Fire is a hybrid at 28.35% with lemon and spice. Dirty Laundry is an indica at 30.71%, heavy and sweet. The Flower Set bundles an eighth of each.

How the potency number works

The THCA percentage on the label is the share of the flower's weight that is THCA. Because the molecule loses mass when it converts, multiply by 0.877 to estimate the most Delta 9 THC the flower can deliver. Emerald Fire at 28.35% THCA can yield up to about 24.9% THC. Where THCA flower is legal

Federal law measures hemp by Delta 9 THC, so THCA flower under 0.3% Delta 9 is hemp. Some states have moved to a total-THC standard that counts THCA as well, and in those states flower like this is treated as marijuana. Does THCA flower get you high?
Raw THCA is not intoxicating. Heat converts it into Delta 9 THC, so once the flower is smoked or vaporized it behaves like any cannabis flower of the same potency.
Is THCA flower legal?
Under the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp is measured by Delta 9 THC content, and THCA flower tests under the 0.3% Delta 9 limit. A growing number of states now test total THC instead, which changes the answer there, and a federal change takes effect in late 2026. Check our state guides before ordering.
