BUBO Token Launch — We introduced our native cryptocurrency for cannabis commerce, establishing Budbo as a leader at the intersection of cannabis and blockchain.

"The blockchain integration was the hardest engineering challenge we've tackled," reflects Jacob Patterson, Co-Founder & CTO. "We had to build a custom bridge between legacy dispensary POS systems and distributed ledger technology. Nobody had done that before in cannabis."

Lessons Learned

Move fast, but move right. The cannabis industry moves quickly, and we've learned to balance speed with quality. Our blockchain integration took longer than planned, but the result is more robust.

Global thinking is essential. With Canada and other countries legalizing, we've shifted from a U.S.-first to a global-first mindset.

Community matters. Our most valuable asset is our community of users, dispensary partners, and BUBO token holders.
